When asked what you like about Rotary, I frequently fall back to “they’re a bunch of people always doing good.” This is not by chance, within Rotary, there are five areas of focus to help channel our “do good” energy, and they are: 1) PROMOTING PEACE, 2) FIGHTING DISEASE, 3) PROVIDING CLEAN WATER, 4) SUPPORTING EDUCATION, and 5) GROWING LOCAL ECONOMIES. The month of March is designated Literacy Month as part of the Supporting Education focus.
